What's more dangerous: Pissing off the Bankster Gangster Crowd or the Pentagon?

Correa Claims Ecuador Coup Attempt After Scuffling With Police

Ecuador declared a state of emergency as hundreds of police protesting wage cuts blocked roads, shut the airport for several hours and sprayed teargas on President Rafael Correa.

The president was taken to a hospital after scuffling with the police and was holed up as officers surrounded the facility, refusing to let his personal security forces escort him out of the building. Looters ransacked banks, supermarkets and shopping malls in the port city of Guayaquil, the country’s largest....

Ecuador, which has defaulted on $3.2 billion of international debt since 2008, has seen three presidents ousted in the past 13 years. Correa, a 47-year-old economist who took office in 2007, brought a modicum of stability to the politically-tumultuous nation of 14 million, becoming the first president to win two terms when he won re-election last year.
The Zionist MSM is trying to spin this coup as some disgruntled cops raising hell about not being paid enough money, but there was too much coordinated violence going on at the same time the President was in danger of being executed by some heartless and soulless Blackwater type goons who get paid BIG money to kill potential threats to the Rothschild Clan of Vampires.

It took the Army 12 hours to reach President Correa and save his presidency and maybe his life from an orchestrated coup.

12 hours in a nation the size of Ecaudor is evidence that the coup plotters were at the highest levels of Ecuador's government and military, recently flush with briefcases full of cash.
Telling the international bankster gangsters that loot, pillage and plunder for fun and profit to take that manufactured debt owed and shove it is one sure way to be assassinated by thuggish hired mercs, contracted out by greedy, arrogant, luxury loving vampires who want both people and countries to stay eternally in debt.

Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa on Global Capitalism, Why He Won't Renew the US Base in Manta, Chevron in the Amazon, Obama's War in Afghanistan, and More

In a national broadcast exclusive, we speak with the President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa. He was in New York attending the United Nations Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and Its Impact on Development. In a wide-ranging interview, we speak with President Correa about global capitalism, his decision not to renew the license for the US military base in Manta, the $12 billion lawsuit against Chevron brought by thousands of Amazon residents for toxic oil pollution, Ecuador's relationship with Colombia, and his advice to President Obama: To learn more and come to better understand the region, and that [Obama] not let himself be taken along by the power of certain media outlets that are compromised with certain ideological fundaments, and that the heroes aren't necessarily heroes, and the villains aren't necessarily villains.

Ecuador wants military base in Miami

Ecuador's leftist President Rafael Correa said Washington must let him open a military base in Miami if the United States wants to keep using an air base on Ecuador's Pacific coast.

Correa has refused to renew Washington's lease on the Manta air base, set to expire in 2009. U.S. officials say it is vital for counter-narcotics surveillance operations on Pacific drug-running routes.

"We'll renew the base on one condition: that they let us put a base in Miami -- an Ecuadorean base," Correa said in an interview during a trip to Italy.

"If there's no problem having foreign soldiers on a country's soil, surely they'll let us have an Ecuadorean base in the United States."
Correa, a popular leftist economist, had promised to cut off his arm before extending the lease that ends in 2009 and has called U.S. President George W. Bush a "dimwit".
Correa's nobody's fool, stooge or lackey. He's deeply cares about Ecuador and its people, who have been getting ripped off by international banks, Big Oil and other Wall Street resource thieves for decades.

He's savvy, intelligent, very perceptive, not easily fooled and probably can't be bought off to sell his homeland to that notorious pack of weasels that have their blood soaked fingers in many an extortion racket and counterfeiting operation, while laundering dirty money for their buddies from the sale of illegal drugs and weapons.

The armed muscle of the bankster gangster crowd, the Pentagon, is also thoroughly PO'd that President Correa told Uncle Sam to get their occupation troops out of Ecuador and dismantle that US base in Manta that the USA claims is used to fight back against terrorists and stop the illegal drug trade, but it's the Pentagon, the CIA and a few others who are terrorizing South America, using the armed might of the world's largest military to occupy countries, keeping a quick strike reaction force on duty 24/7 in case some of the thieves robbing the country blind, like oil and mining interests, need protection from the indigenous people who want their country's natural resources to benefit THEIR nation, and not a bunch of lard ass Fortune 500 types who live and act like royalty.
US dismantling Ecuador base for move to Colombia 18th July, 2009
The US military has begun to dismantle its anti-drug-and-terrorism operations and its base in Manta, Ecuador, as its aircraft flew their last missions on Friday, the US embassy said.

The equipment and planes appear headed to Colombia, which is negotiating with the US to take them in after Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa refused to extend the contract that ends in September.
Word of warning to you, Mr. President: Be very sure of your personal protection force and stay away from flying.

(He called GW Bush a "dimwit?" I applaud Correa for showing restraint and me thinks El Presidente has Mucho Grande Cojones!)

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man: How the U.S. Uses Globalization to Cheat Poor Countries Out of Trillions

We speak with John Perkins, a former respected member of the international banking community. In his book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man he describes how as a highly paid professional, he helped the U.S. cheat poor countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars by lending them more money than they could possibly repay and then take over their economies.

John Perkins describes himself as a former economic hit man–a highly paid professional who cheated countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars.

Perkins writes, "The book was to be dedicated to the presidents of two countries, men who had been his clients whom I respected and thought of as kindred spirits–Jaime Roldós, president of Ecuador, and Omar Torrijos, president of Panama. Both had just died in fiery crashes. Their deaths were not accidental. They were assassinated because they opposed that fraternity of corporate, government, and banking heads whose goal is global empire. We Economic Hit Men failed to bring Roldós and Torrijos around, and the other type of hit men, the CIA-sanctioned jackals who were always right behind us, stepped in.

This [American] empire, unlike any other in the history of the world, has been built primarily through economic manipulation, through cheating, through fraud, through seducing people into our way of life, through the economic hit men. I was very much a part of that.

But my real job was deal-making. It was giving loans to other countries, huge loans, much bigger than they could possibly repay. One of the conditions of the loan—let’s say a $1 billion to a country like Indonesia or Ecuador—and this country would then have to give ninety percent of that loan back to a U.S. company, or U.S. companies, to build the infrastructure—a Halliburton or a Bechtel. These were big ones. Those companies would then go in and build an electrical system or ports or highways, and these would basically serve just a few of the very wealthiest families in those countries.

Coup Attempt in Ecuador Is a Result of Sec. Clinton's Cowardice in Honduras

UPDATE
In addition to the action by the police, elements of the Ecuadorian Air Force seized Quito’s international airport and other commercial airports, halting all flights in and out of the country and surrounding the hanger containing the president’s aircraft in an apparent attempt to prevent Correa from escaping. Police also shut down the National Assembly, and elements supporting the uprising seized control of the public television station.

  2. I find it encouraging that not all the world’s leaders have sold their souls – and their nations with it – to the vampires. Unfortunately it does seem to greatly decrease the odds of living long enough to see their pensions.

Maybe South America is showing us that even after decades of tyranny and many a false hope that the resistance is still in the hearts of their people.
