Evangelical leaders back SantorumMaybe they need a refresher course in IRS law, which states the following:
Influential evangelical Christian leaders on Saturday endorsed Rick Santorum for the Republican U.S. presidential nomination, in an attempt to strengthen him as the more conservative alternative to front-runner Mitt Romney.
At a weekend meeting at a ranch outside Houston, the group of 150 conservatives agreed on the third ballot to support the former Pennsylvania senator.
Charities, Churches and PoliticsThere are around 100 million Christian Evangelical and Pentecostal 'Bible Thumpers' in the USA, and about 70 million are of voting age and many do vote. That's a large enough bloc of voters to swing an election in their favor, with no help needed from election fraud vote counting thieves like DIEBOLD/ESS.
The ban on political campaign activity by charities and churches was created by Congress more than a half century ago.
In 1954, Congress approved an amendment by Sen. Lyndon Johnson to prohibit 501(c)(3) organizations, which includes charities and churches, from engaging in any political campaign activity. To the extent Congress has revisited the ban over the years, it has in fact strengthened the ban. The most recent change came in 1987 when Congress amended the language to clarify that the prohibition also applies to statements opposing candidates.
Currently, the law prohibits political campaign activity by charities and churches by defining a 501(c)(3) organization as one "which does not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."
Each election cycle, the IRS reminds 501(c)(3) exempt organizations to be aware of the ban on political campaign activity.
These 'Christians' proclaim loudly they follow their Lord, who's also known as the 'Prince of Peace,' but they are some of the most vociferous and enthusiastic supporters of these never ending 'Wars for Wall Street and Israel,' so how can they claim to be a REAL Christian?
Don't they realize they are being used and abused by Zionist and Apartheid Israeli Jews to support the murderous psychos like Israel CRIME MINISTER 'Betty Nuttyhoo' and to keep American money, arms and cannon fodder flowing to the Zionist entity, regardless of the cost to America?
Maybe they need to stop thumping their Bible and read it, specifically the "Sermon on the Mount," in which THEIR Lord said:
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9)
And this, from James 3:16-18:
For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil work will be there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
More from the same/sane blog:
There can be no dispute, however, that the vocation of every Christian is to make peace primarily through what he himself is. Secondarily, we must strive to secure the conditions and relationships that will make good will, concord and cooperation possible instead of hatred, strife, competition and conflict.Guess being a lover and advocate of peace isn't as much fun as killing people, so these 'G-d' fearing people will support some war monger who proclaims to be a good Christian, but is just another war loving Zionist lackey.
Rick Santorum Supports Preemptive Strike Against Iran
While these Christians rally behind Rick ""People Have This Idea That They Should Be Left Alone," Santorum, maybe they need to read about how he was rated one of the most CORRUPT Senators. No small feat, considering that he belonged to the 109th Congress, which some say was one of the most unethical and illegal ones on record.
For all you 'G-d' feaing Christians, this one's for YOU.
