Tongue firmly in cheek, the government urged citizens Thursday to prepare for a zombie apocalypse, part of a public health campaign to encourage better preparation for genuine disasters and emergencies. The theory: If you're prepared for a zombie attack, the same preparations will help during a hurricane, pandemic, earthquake or terrorist attack.
A few of the government's suggestions tracked closely with some of the 33 rules for dealing with zombies popularized in the 2009 movie "Zombieland," which included "always carry a change of underwear" and "when in doubt, know your way out."

Not a week goes by without news of U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan or Yemen, but the U.S. also conducts assassinations by helicopter-borne special forces like the ones who killed Osama Bin Laden. The former head of Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Admiral Eric Olson, told an Aspen Institute conference that SOCOM conducts a dozen such operations every night in Afghanistan and elsewhere. The total number of night raids in Afghanistan escalated from twenty per month in early 2009 to over a thousand per month two years later, and senior officers admit that at least half of them target the wrong person or house.
Sixty thousand U.S. special operations forces now conduct assassinations, night-raids, training missions, joint operations and exercises in 120 countries around the world, twice as many as when Obama came to power, with deployments in about 70 countries at any given time.

A new report reveals how wealthy individuals and their families have between $21 and $32 trillion of hidden financial assets around the world in what are known as offshore accounts or tax havens. The actual sums could be higher because the study only deals with financial wealth deposited in bank and investment accounts, and not other assets such as property and yachts. The inquiry was commissioned by the Tax Justice Network and is being touted as the most comprehensive report ever on the "offshore economy." It also finds that private banks are deeply involved in running offshore havens, with UBS, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs handling the most assets.
The Pentagon has confirmed the White House has authorized the early stages of planning for potential military action in Syria. Speaking before a senate committee, General Martin Dempsey, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said military officials have prepared a preliminary "commanders’ estimate" on how a battle would play out for President Obama’s National Security Council. Dempsey outlined some of the military actions the United States could take.
Gen. Martin Dempsey: "Humanitarian relief, no-fly zone, maritime interdiction, humanitarian corridor and limited aerial strikes for example. We’re at what I would describe as the 'commanders estimate' level of detail, not detailed planning. Have not been briefed with the President, have been discussed with the President’s National Security Council staff. And as General [James] Maddis testified yesterday, the next step would be to take whatever options we deem to be feasible into the next level of planning."
Testifying along with Dempsey, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the planning is in the preliminary phase and would only get more detailed at President Obama’s request. During the hearing, Panetta was questioned by Republican Senator John McCain, who this week became the first U.S. lawmaker to call for the U.S. bombing of Syria.

(Past keynote speakers at this dog and pony show have been the tax-dodging fraud Bono, of U2 fame and the wanted, at-large war criminal, former UL PM Tony Blair.)
At the same time, to those who know our government is a corrupt, amoral, well-oiled death machine that has been hijacked by Wall Street and Israel, it was nauseating to listen to OBOMBA spew out his fabrications, but that's the price one has to pay if you're going to watch the Zionist MSM a little bit each day, to see and listen to the latest propaganda and psyops directed at 'We the People.'

Bank CEOs leading “accounting control frauds” now do so with impunity from the criminal laws. They become wealthy through fraud and even if they are sued civilly they almost invariably walk away wealthy with the proceeds of their frauds.

The Center for Public Integrity is a nonprofit, nonpartisan investigative reporting group in Washington.
Where would these changes leave the United States military, compared to others?
Does the Pentagon protect the Fed or does the Fed protect the Pentagon?
Obama said on January 5 that after his proposed changes, U.S. military spending will still be “larger than roughly the next 10 nations combined.”
He did not list them, but those countries are, in rough order, China, Britain, France, Russia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, India, Italy, and Brazil. Experts have complained that Obama understated the American predominance, by not saying “the next 17 or 18 nations combined,” but China’s military budget is opaque, making this calculation imprecise.
Smoke and mirrors. Look at it this way: You could say that within 10 years, you'll be a millionaire, since you won't spend that one million dollars. Which would be easy to do, since you don't have a million to spend so you won't have a million to save, but it looks good on paper.
Regardless of the fact that our nation's infrastructure is looking like a 3rd world country and our public schools are woefully outdated and that we're so broke and we are forced to borrow money from the Zionist owned, Jewish run Fed just to pay the INTEREST on money already borrowed, there are some very vocal House members who are yowling like a dog that got scalded with hot water about the defense budget's future planned spending might be cut.

In April 2010, the Navy announced that the cost of refurbishing the carrier had risen to $655 million and was scheduled to be completed the same month. On April 19, 2010, Enterprise left the Northrop Grumman shipyard to conduct sea trials in preparation for return to the fleet. The total cost of refurbishing the carrier was $662 million, which was 46% over budget and took eight months longer than originally scheduled. The Navy stated that it planned to use the carrier for two six-month deployments before her scheduled decommissioning date in 2013.
I must be a bit dense, since I can't understand why the Navy would spend 662 MILLION DOLLARS in 2010 to refurbish a ship that was due to be decommissioned just three years later--taken out of service and sold for scrap iron, or maybe sunk in the ocean, since the on-board nuclear reactors have made parts of the ship too contaminated with radioactivity to be safely handled. Ditto for nuclear powered subs, at least 100 have been dumped into the S. Pacific over the decades. Now you know why a good cook can make a meal out of fish that leaves you feeling all warm inside:)
Or maybe the USS Enterprise will be used for the next false flag, attacked by Israeli or American special forces, dressed up to look like it was an Iranian military group, then off we go, fighting another war for Wall Street and Israel.
If you were going to tear down your home in a couple of years, since you were building a new one, would you spend an ungodly amount of money to completely remodel the structure?

Some of these souls languishing in a private Hell, caused by endless days or weeks of shelling, were considered cowards and executed by their own country.
To their far-off generals, the soldiers' executions served a dual purpose - to punish the deserters and to dispel similar ideas in their comrades. Courts martial were anxious to make an example and those on trial could expect little support from medical officers. One such doctor later recalled, 'I went to the trial determined to give him no help, for I detest his type - I really hoped he would be shot.'
Those condemned to death usually had their sentences confirmed by Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig on the evening following their court-martial. A chaplain was dispatched to spend the night in the cell with the condemned man and execution took place the following dawn, with some men facing their last moments drugged with morphine or alcohol. When the time came, the offender was tied to a stake, a medical officer placed a piece of white cloth over the man's heart and a priest prayed for him. Then the firing line - usually made up of six soldiers - was given orders to shoot. One round was routinely blank and no soldier could be sure he had fired a fatal shot.
Immediately after the shooting, the medical officer would examine the man. If he was still alive, the officer in charge would finish him off with a revolver.
There is an excellent movie on this subject, 1957's "Paths of Glory," starring Kirk Douglas as a colonel who is ordered to mount a suicide mission by ordering his regiment to 'Go over the top,' which means leaving your trench and charge into 'No Man's Land' that was filled with barbed wire, mines and behind that, fixed machine gun positions.
The machine gun fire is so intense, the attack fails, pissing off an egomaniac French commander who then wants to show the rest of the soldiers that you will be subject to a court-martial and executed if you can't accomplish your insane mission.
It's an excellent anti-war movie and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching this insider's view of the insanity of wars and the troops being at danger from being killed by the enemy or their own country.
Douglas tries to defend the soldier's randomly selected for the trial, but the outcome is already decided and the resulting trial is a farce.

Rex has gotten so pissed at the Missouri Secretary of State on how the ballot proposal would be worded--it contained too many truths--that he's filed suit against the state to word the ballot proposal HIS way.
An analysis of nine ballot initiatives financier Rex Sinquefield submitted to state officials this month calling for the elimination of Missouri's income tax has concluded that the state would require a sales tax of 12 percent in order to make up for lost revenue if any of the initiatives became law.
And it wouldn't just be retail items that would have to be taxed under the analysis funded by Missourians Against Higher Taxes. Everything would be taxed -- including the rent for your apartment and a trip to visit your doctor.
By the way, this analysis wasn't done by some left-wing hack either. James Moody, the state's former budget director under Republican Gov. John Ashcroft, crunched the numbers. In his report submitted to Missouri Auditor Tom Schweich last month, Moody calls Sinquefield's petitions "fiscally untenable."
"They will either bankrupt the state, or in the alternative, bankrupt the poor and the working lower and middle income classes," writes Moody, who for 14 pages goes on to debunk the assertions of Sinquefield's think tank Show-Me Institute and other advocates of so-called "Fair Tax" proposals.

Thank you, Mr President. The commision has recently replied to my written question, confirming that Commissioners Almunia and Kroes, attended the Bilderberg meeting in St.Moritz in June.
The commission cannot tell me details of what was discussed but assured me that the Bilderberg meetings do not take decisions. Upcoming Military Drills for September 2011?
To help pull off the FALSE FLAG/INSIDE JOB of 9/11, the American traitors were aiding their Israeli back-stabbing counterparts by holding numerous military drills on that day, like Operation Northern Vigilance, a NORAD operation which involved deploying fighter aircraft to locations in Alaska and Northern Canada, removing many from the Northeast portion of the USA that could have been used to shoot down the attacking aircraft or missiles that were used.
Some even claim there were 46 military drills held on that fateful day. During their conversation, Myers mentions, “We are in the middle of Vigilant Warrior, a NORAD exercise.” [Clarke, 2004, pp. 5] However, no other references have been found to this exercise, “Vigilant Warrior.” Considering that exercise terms are “normally an unclassified nickname,” [Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, 4/23/1998 ] this is perhaps a little odd. Could Richard Clarke have mistakenly been referring to the Vigilant Guardian exercise (see (6:30 a.m.) September 11, 2001), which is taking place on 9/11? According to a later news report though, NORAD confirms that “it was running two mock drills on Sept. 11 at various radar sites and Command Centers in the United States and Canada,” one of these being Vigilant Guardian. [New Jersey Star-Ledger, 12/5/2003] If this is correct then there must be another NORAD exercise on 9/11.
Richard Clarke asks Joint Chiefs of Staff Vice Chairman Richard Myers, “I assume NORAD has scrambled fighters and AWACS. How many? Where?” Myers, who is at the Pentagon, replies, “Not a pretty picture, Dick. We are in the middle of Vigilant Warrior, a NORAD exercise, but… Otis has launched two birds toward New York. Langley is trying to get two up now [toward Washington].
Otis Air National Guard Base is in Massachusetts, 188 miles east of New York City; Langley is in Virginia, 129 miles south of Washington. The first fighters don’t reach Washington until perhaps more than 30 minutes later.

But if there are plans for a similar attack, it would have to involve the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which is a joint organization of Canada and the United States that provides aerospace warning, air sovereignty, and defense for the two countries. Headquarters NORAD is located at Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, Colorado. NORAD command and control is exercised through the Cheyenne Mountain Operations Center, located a short distance away.
General Charles H. Jacoby, Jr., USA is the current head of NORAD, put into that position on August 3, 2011, replacing Admiral James A. Winnefeld, Jr., USN, who had held the same spot for less than one year, which is odd, since many NORAD heads kept that office for several years.
Wikipedia has all sorts of info on Admiral Winnefeld, but hardly anything on his successor, Gen. Jacoby.
