Did We Wander Into the NWO Slaughterhouse or Were We Herded There?

The Century Of The Self-Full Length Documentary

The Century of the Self by Adam Curtis tells the untold and controversial story of the growth of the mass-consumer society. How is the all-consuming self created, by whom, and in whose interest?

Part 1-Happiness Machines:

Part one documents the story of the relationship between Sigmund Freud and his American nephew, Edward Bernays who invented 'Public Relations' in the 1920s, being the first person to take Freud's ideas to manipulate the masses. He showed American corporations how they could make people want things they didn't need by systematically linking mass-produced goods to their unconscious desires.

Part 2-The Engineering of Consent:

Part two explores how those in power in post-war America used Freud's ideas about the unconscious mind to try and control the masses. Politicians and planners came to believe Freud's underlying premise that deep within all human beings were dangerous and irrational desires. They were convinced that it was the unleashing of these instincts that had led to the barbarism of Nazi Germany, and in response to this, they set out to find ways to control the masses so as to manage the 'hidden enemy' within the human mind.

Sigmund Freud is a well known figure, but his nephew, Edward Bernays is not. Besides being a full-fledged 'Tribe' member, Bernays also has been named the 'Father of Propaganda' in the USSA and what a 'father' he was.
He realized that the word propaganda contained negative implications, so Bernays changed his theories of mass manipulation an called it "Public Relations."

Bernays helped engineer the campaign to get women to smoke and was influential in promoting the idea that America's efforts in WWI were primarily aimed at “bringing democracy to all of Europe."

Bernays promoted himself as a believer in democracy, but actually feared people thinking for themselves and worked endlessly to help the government manipulate society, since he thought people were irrational.

Another of Bernays achievements was getting fluoride introduced into out drinking water, claiming it "safe and beneficial to human health."

Safe for whom? The PTB that have been working non-stop to create a New World Order?

His PR helped United Fruit get the US government involved in overthrowing the democratically elected Guatemalan president, General Jacobo Arbenz Guzman.

Guzman's sin? He tried to implement land reform to return the land that had been stolen by corporations like United Fruit and give it back to the people of Guatemala.

Bernays worked with the CIA to cast Guzman as a commie and that a Soviet beachhead was going to be established in the western hemisphere.

Then it was the 'Red Menace' that the USA just had to fight, whether or not it existed.

Since the USSR collapse, the propaganda these days is that an 'Islamic Caliphate' is being established and again, the USA has to fight this menace, so 'We the People' have to give up our liberty in order to protect our freedom and spend our economy into an abyss that we won't recover from.

"Eddie, your plan is working wonderfully. The masses are being molded into clones that have lost their ability to think."

Steal all my money, I don't care, just as long as I can listen and watch a soothing video that quiets that nagging voice in the recesses of my mind.

YouTube's Least Popular Videos: Bailout Clips

And this is one of the ways of controlling the masses; using soft core porn disguised as news.

First off Merry, Merry whatever you choose to do and best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous new year

Have you ever noticed at the side of my blog, I have this quote from Bernays

Edward Bernays: Perception Management it is a Reality

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society,"

"Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. . . . In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons . . . who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind."

Kind of says it all doesn't it?
This is from the book "Propaganda"
    by Bernays

    You can read that here
