'Banksy' Goes to Gaza and Makes a Video!

Make this the year YOU discover a new destination

Banksy goes undercover in Gaza, releases mini-documentary

The unidentified street artist Banksy has re-emerged in Gaza to create a political mini-documentary about life inside the war-torn region.

In the short film, posted to his official website on Wednesday, the artist appears to enter Gaza via underground tunnels before emerging through a metal door and into the rubble.

Typical of Banksy's work, the video is a pointed political statement about the dire situation for residents of Gaza. At least 2,200 Palestinians were killed in last summer's war with Israel, according to the United Nations.

The video is also sharply satirical, framed as a travel ad that begins by saying, "Make this the year you discover a new destination." Glowing descriptions flash by such as "nestled in an exclusive setting," as the cameraman pans to show areas of total destruction, and "watched over by friendly neighbours," before listing the number of homes blown up by missile fire.

Among the destroyed buildings and bleak reality, Banksy is shown painting a piece titled "Bomb Damage" that depicts the Greek goddess Niobe cowering and weeping in the only part that remains of a building. The goddess, a bereaved mother who lost her children due to pride, illustrates in Greek mythology how the gods will not hesitate to take vengeance on human arrogance.

That carton pretty much sums it up.

Yet, The Palestinians are depicted as terrorists, savages, and trouble makers.

Give a jew an inch, and they take the whole country.

If Palestinians and followers of Islam, known as Muslims, are so evil, then why do they help the homeless in England during the winter?

You judge a people by their acts and deeds.

Israel is known for blatant and remorseless inhumanity than it's good deeds. If any.

This site needs more views and traffic.

The Truth needs to be told.

They steal the water. They turn off the water. They pollute the water.

BUT they routinely flood Gaza with dirty water as they did last month. Many families of people end up homeless in the winter, it is cold and their health is below precarious.

And they dare say this is not genocide.

Lee, this site is a labor of love, so if it only reaches one person and opens their mind, then it's a success.

Noor, the travesties visited upon the under siege Palestinians are crimes against humanity, but what does the West's leadership know about humanity?
